Hosted a Family & Friends Event

At the beginning of this month, we had the joy of hosting a Family & Friends Event to proudly showcase our TidalKite system to those who have been supporting us throughout this journey.

It was an inspiring day of discovery, where we shared our progress, explored the technology driving our mission, and highlight how sustainability and ecology are at the core of our strategy. The event started with founder, Youri Wentzel, giving an opening statement and thanking family, friends and colleagues, followed by Julia diving deeper into the ins and outs of pitching SeaQurrent.

Before drinks and snacks, we organised a TidalKite Discovery Tour —a series of deep dives into the innovation behind our system. The first explored the TidalKite, detailing its features, functionality, and technology. Next, we took a closer look at the development of the Power Take-Off (PTO), including its assembly and underlying technology. Finally, we ventured into the world of marine ecology, highlighting SeaQurrent’s research, key findings, and the processes that guide our work.

It was a day of curiosity, connection, and a shared vision for a more sustainable future.

For us, harnessing tidal energy isn’t just about innovation—it’s about developing solutions that work in harmony with marine ecosystems and contribute to a cleaner future.
